Peter B. Panzer, M.D.

Peter-PanzerDr. Panzer is the founder of Premier Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery, starting his practice in 1978. He was in solo practice for 11 years until joined by his brother, Dr. Scott Panzer in 1989, and since then the practice has continued to expand so that now it includes six physicians and a staff of over 35 other dedicated employees. Dr. Panzer enjoys all aspects of medical and surgical dermatology, and also performs a number of cosmetic procedures. His favorite cosmetic procedures include sclerotherapy for spider veins on the legs, and injection of collagen and hyaluronic acid (fillers) for facial wrinkles and depressions. In medical dermatology, he cares for a large number of patients with psoriasis, and has developed significant expertise in this area.

Dr. Panzer is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He also is a member of multiple other professional organizations including the Delaware Academy of Dermatology, Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology, National Psoriasis Foundation and his state and county medical societies. Every year for many years now, he has been voted by his peers as a TOP DOC in the Delaware Today annual poll.

Dr. Panzer lives in the Greenville area with his wife, and has three grown sons. Hobbies include tennis and travel.



Scott M. Panzer, M.D.

Scott-PanzerScott Panzer, M.D. joined his older brother, Peter, at Premier Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in 1989 after completing his residency in dermatology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Panzer has a broad range of expertise in the medical and surgical management of skin, hair, and nail diseases. Common conditions he treats are warts, acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer, utilizing state of the art treatments.

Cosmetic interests include spider vein sclerotherapy, laser treatment of vascular lesions such as port wine stains, spider veins, and other blood vessel growths, chemical peels with TCA for skin rejuvenation and surgical removal of various benign growths.

Dr. Panzer is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons. Other professional memberships include: Delaware Academy of Dermatology, Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology, Philadelphia Dermatological Society, National Psoriasis Foundation, American Medical Association, Medical Society of Delaware, and New Castle County Medical Society.

Dr. Panzer lives in Media, Pennsylvania with his wife, who is an anesthesiologist, and their three children. His hobbies include tennis, guitar, and spending time with his son and twin daughters.



Helen Ann Mashek, M.D.

Helen-Mashek Dr. Helen Ann Mashek joined Premier Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in 1996. She is interested in all aspects of skin care, including medical dermatology and cosmetic procedures. She is dedicated to her practice and enjoys working with adult and pediatric patients. She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology.

Dr. Mashek graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School. She completed residencies in Internal Medicine at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Dermatology at SUNY – Buffalo. She enjoys teaching and scholarly pursuits. She gives educational lectures to residents of the Christiana Health Care System as well as to community groups. Her research and clinical work is published in leading dermatology journals.

Dr. Mashek is active in several professional organizations including the American Academy of Dermatology, Philadelphia Dermatologic Society, Delaware Academy of Dermatology and the Women’s Dermatologic Society. On a personal note, Dr. Mashek enjoys family life with her husband and two young daughters.



Christopher M. Conti, M.D.

Christopher-Conti Christopher M. Conti, M.D. is a board certified Dermatologist, a Mohs and Reconstructive fellowship trained surgeon, and skin cancer specialist.

Dr. Conti is originally from upstate New York and received his medical degree at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. He then completed two years of internal medicine at SUNY Health Sciences Center in Syracuse, New York, followed by a one year fellowship in Photodynamic Therapy and Cutaneous Oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York.

Dr. Conti then completed a three year Dermatology residency at SUNY Health Sciences Center at Buffalo, where he also served as chief resident, and subsequently received his board certification in Dermatology. Finally, he completed a Mohs College approved fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Reconstruction under the direction of Dr. Anthony Benedetto in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.




Paul Sabini, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Paul Sabini joined Premier Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in 2003 and specializes exclusively in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.  After graduating cum laude from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, Dr. Sabini obtained his medical degree at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He began his training in a surgical residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center. He continued his Otolaryngology Head and Neck residency at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear infirmary, working with true leaders in the field of aesthetic surgery. The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery awarded Dr. Sabini a fellowship at the University of Rochester at Lindsay House with Dr. Vito Quatela. Dr. Sabini is Board Certified by the  American Board of Facial Plastic Surgery and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS).  He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a  and a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners with a medical license in Delaware and New York.

Dr. Sabini has collaborated on many of the most advanced artistic and scientific techniques in facial plastic surgery today, including the midcheek facelift and endoscopic browlift. His contributions to research, cover such topics as cleft palate, soft tissue augmentation, cartilage tissue engineering, facial nerve function and growth factors to name a few.  Prestigious scientific journals such as Facial Plastic Surgery Clinics, Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery, American Journal of Neuroradiology, Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Archives of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the American Journal of Otolaryngology have published his articles and book chapters.

He serves on the Board of the HUGS Foundation (www.helpusgivesmiles.org)  and is the surgical team leader for their Ecuadorian mission.  Since 1999, he has made annual trips to Quito with a team of volunteers who treat children with congenital facial deformities.

He resides in Pennsylvania with his wife and two sons.

Lori Spencer, M.D., Ph. D.

Lori-SpencerLori A. Spencer, M.D., Ph.D., joined Premier Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in July of 2008. She is a board-certified Dermatologist. A Pittsburgh native, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with Biological Sciences Departmental Honors from the University of Pittsburgh in 1996. She entered the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine’s Medical Scientist Training Program, and was awarded her Ph.D. in Immunology in May 2002 and her M.D. May 2004. She completed her internship at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital, and her Dermatology Residency training at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine Department of Dermatology. She finished her final year of residency as an academic fellow focusing on diseases of the hair and nails, and her completed project was published as a research letter in the March 2009 Archives of Dermatology. She has been featured in the Delaware News Journal’s Health Section, discussing the various causes and treatments of alopecia in women.

At Premier Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery, she sees general dermatology patients of all ages, but also enjoys dermatologic surgery and cosmetic procedures including Botox, Juvederm, Restylane, and sclerotherapy. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Delaware Academy of Dermatology, and the Philadelphia Dermatologic Society. She also enjoys and welcomes opportunities for teaching, mentoring, and lecturing residents at local and university hospitals.

In her free time, she enjoys cooking, running, and spending time with her pets and her family.





Matthew R. Hanson, M.D.

Dr. Hanson is a board certified Dermatologist with a special interest in Dermatopathology. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases in patients of all ages. A Maryland native, Dr. Hanson graduated with honors from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and then attended medical school at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. He remained at Drexel for an internship in Internal Medicine at Hahnemann Hospital. There, he completed his Dermatology residency followed by additional training as a fellow in Dermatopathology.

Throughout his residency and fellowship he cultivated an interest in Genodermatoses – skin diseases with a genetic predisposition. At Premier Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery he continues these efforts, bridging the clinical and laboratory sciences to bring the most comprehensive treatment options to patients. In addition to his clinical efforts, he enjoys teaching at Christiana Health Care Systems and encourages dermatologic interests in resident physicians.

Dr. Hanson lives in the area with his wife, son, and dog. His interests include fishing, camping, and spending time with his family.





Dr. Eric Oliet, M.D.

Dr. Eric OlietDr. Oliet is a Board Certified dermatologist who joined Premier Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in 2013, and has enjoyed practicing dermatology in Wilmington since 1983.  He obtained his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and completed his dermatology training at the University of Cincinnati.

Dr. Oliet is dedicated to helping his patients with their dermatologic problems in a caring and comprehensive manner.  He has been listed for many years  in The Best Doctors In America database and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Delaware Academy of Dermatology, and Medical Society of Delaware.  His outside interests include: boating on the Choptank River, swimming, early American wall and shelf clocks, and spending time with his wife Mary Rose and children.

Dr. Oliet was elected by his peers for inclusion in Best Doctors in America from 1996 to 2012 and 2015-2016.


Maryam S. Haque, M.D.

Maryam S. Haque, M.D., joined Premier Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in July of 2016. She is a board-certified Dermatologist. A Louisiana native, she was accepted into a competitive Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medical Degree program at Drexel University, where she graduated summa cum laude.

While in medical school, she was awarded a grant to do research at Harvard Medical School in post-cardiac surgery patients.  She was elected into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and graduated in the top 1% of her class of over 250 students.  She was awarded the Most Outstanding Woman of her Graduating Medical School Class.

She completed her internship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and returned to Philadelphia to complete her dermatological residency at Drexel University.

As a result of her dedication to education, she served as a course instructor teaching dermatology curriculum to medical students.  She was appointed Chief Resident in her final year of training.  She has published multiple journal articles and presented at national meetings.

She is a fellow the American Academy of Dermatology, a member of the Delaware Academy of Dermatology, and a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology.

Dr. Haque resides in the area with her husband and two young children.  She enjoys spending time volunteering, traveling, and being outdoors.




Candrice R. Heath, M.D.

Dr. HeathDr. Candrice Heath will be joining Premier Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in August 2016. She is a board-certified dermatologist, pediatrician and is fellowship trained in Pediatric Dermatology. Dr. Heath has a welcoming smile and warm personality that her patients adore. She is dedicated to delivering compassionate patient care to both children and adults by improving their skin and ultimately their lives.

Dr. Heath received her undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University and her medical degree from the University of Virginia.  She completed her pediatric training at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and dermatology residency training at Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s, Roosevelt & Beth Israel Medical Centers in New York, NY. Dr. Heath served as chief dermatology resident physician during her final year of training. Following dermatology residency, Dr. Heath served in a dual role at Johns Hopkins University Dermatology Department ? pediatric dermatology fellow and dermatology instructor attending physician.

Dr. Heath has authored multiple scientific papers, served as a sub-investigator for numerous dermatology clinical research trials in both university based and private practice settings. Her work has been presented at a variety of national dermatology conferences. She enjoys dermatology education for primary care physicians & dermatology physicians, advances in technology for healthcare delivery, laser technology, dermatology clinical research, mentoring, and education through the media.

Dr. Heath enjoys taking care of patients from birth to over 100 years old.


Gina Caputo, D.O

Premier Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery welcomes Dr. Gina Caputo to their growing dermatology family this July. She will be seeing patients at both our Newark and Wilmington offices.

She received her undergraduate degree from Temple University and her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.  Dr. Caputo completed her dermatology residency training at Lewis Gale Montgomery Hospital. She scored in the top 10 percentile on in-service training her first two years.   Throughout her years of education she has received numerous awards and scholarships exemplifying her knowledge and understanding of her studies.

She is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Dermatology, American Academy of Dermatology and the Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery.

She has authored multiple papers on facial edema and other diseases of the skin. Dr. Caputo enjoys helping others and finds time in her busy schedule to volunteer in local and international endeavors.  She provided free skin screenings at the Melanoma International Foundation’s “Safe from the Sun” event.   She has traveled to the Dominican Republic to treat patients with dermatologic conditions in a rural clinic.  Outside the medical field she has offered her time and service to help create the Philly Fire Fundraiser in which money was raised to offer assistance to firefighters, police officers and their families who have been injured or killed in the line of duty.   She is also an advocate for animal adoption and supports PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society) and STAR (Street Tails Animal Rescue).

Dr. Caputo’s charisma and enthusiasm for helping others is evident to all that get to meet and work with her.




John Roussalis, M.D.

Dr. John L. Roussalis is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who joined Premier Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery after running his own practice in Casper, Wyoming. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Notre Dame where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine in 2000 from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He completed his general surgery training from Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio and is also board Certified in general surgery. He did his fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Temple University in Philadelphia and became board certified in Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Roussalis was a recipient of the 2004 Medical Society of Greater Akron Research Award. Research projects and presentations ranged from breast reconstruction, minimally invasive cosmetic surgery, wound care, and operative techniques in hand surgery. He was appointed as a clinical instructor in surgery for the Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine. Dr. Roussalis also found time during his busy education and research to teach and volunteer for various causes. He spent time volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and Big Brothers.

Dr. Roussalis was selected as chief resident during his training in general surgery. During his last year in plastic fellowship he was selected chief fellow and spent time at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Institute in New York City specializing in breast reconstruction for breast cancer. He also worked with several local collegiate and professional sports teams in the Philadelphia area as Temple University is a regional hand center. 

Dr. Roussalis is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is skilled at all cosmetic and reconstructive procedure including breast enhancement, liposuction, breast reduction, breast reconstruction, tummy tucks, mommy makeovers and post bariatric surgery.

He participated in martial arts at Notre Dame and Creighton University, where he received his second degree black belt. He also enjoys tennis, skiing, outdoor activities, reading science fiction, and spending time with family and friends.
