Michele Compton PA-C, BS, RN, BSN

Michele started her career in the medical field as a registered nurse working in the operating room. Wanting to further her education, she attended MCP Hahnemann University’s Physician Assistant Program upon graduation in August of 2000, Michele went on to complete a one year surgical residency program at Norwalk Hospital/ Yale School of Medicine in Connecticut. Before joining Premier Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in January 2007, she worked for five years in plastic and reconstructive surgery in New Haven, Connecticut.

Michele works in conjunction with Dr. Christopher Conti to treat patients with cancerous and precancerous lesions. She performs full skin examinations and minor surgical procedures including benign lesions and skin cancer removal.

Michele is certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Delaware Academy of Physicians, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Jessica Borderieux, MPH, PA-C

Jessica attended and graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2001 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Biotechnology. She furthered her education at Nova Southeastern University, earning both her Physician Assistant degree and Master’s degree in Public Health in 2003.

Upon graduation, Jessica worked as a surgical Physician Assistant at the Cleveland Clinic Florida in Naples. She then transitioned into Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for three years at the Cleveland Clinic Florida, and at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania.

Jessica joined Premier Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in March 2008, working with Dr. Christopher Conti in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology. As a Physician Assistant, Jessica works in conjunction with Dr. Conti to treat patients with cancerous and precancerous lesions. She performs full skin examinations and minor surgical procedures including benign lesion (moles, cysts, etc.) and skin cancer removal.

Jessica is a certified Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Delaware Academy of Physician Assistants, Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and American Association of Surgical Physician Assistants.

 


 

Naura Shah, PA-C

Naura Shah is a board certified Physician Assistant licensed by the states Delaware, Virginia, and Ohio. She is joining us after practicing general dermatology mainly in northern Virginia for several years, then briefly in Ohio. She recently moved to Delaware and is eager to get to know the wonderful people of the surrounding areas.

Naura completed her undergraduate studies at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV with a Bachelors of Science in Biology in 2008. Shortly after, she pursued a Master’s Degree in Biochemistry before deciding to switch tracks to healthcare. She graduated with honors from the Physician Assistant Master’s Program at the University of Charleston, West Virginia in 2013.

She is a fellow of the Society for Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and was awarded the highest recognition within the society by gaining Diplomate status earlier this year, after completing rigorous online modules designed for experienced dermatology physician assistants. Furthermore, she is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She has maintained a keen interest in academics for the past few years and has co-authored a few publications in well-known dermatology journals.

She is qualified to diagnose and treat a wide variety of dermatological conditions, including acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, warts, and skin cancers as well as perform minor dermatology procedures.

When she is not in the office, she looks forward to spending time with family and friends. She was born and raised in West Virginia and is an outdoor enthusiast, including hiking and cycling.

Daniella Benson, PA-C

Daniella B picDaniella Benson, a board-certified Physician Assistant who grew up Long Island, NY, graduated from University of Delaware in 2000, earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She then attended Philadelphia University Physician Assistant Program, earning her Master of Science degree.  She has a strong surgical background, formerly working in General and surgical subspecialties at both Christiana and St. Francis Hospital here in Delaware. She also spent several years working with a Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon, as well as a Otolaryngology (ENT) /Facial Plastics group in Pennsylvania.

She has had extensive experience in surgery and plastics/cosmetics closures, as well as diagnosing and treating skin cancers.  She works in conjunction Dr. Christopher Conti to treat patients with cancerous and precancerous lesions. She performs full skin examinations and minor surgical procedures including benign lesions and skin cancer removal.

Daniella is board- certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and is the Secretary/Board Member of the Delaware Academy of Physician Assistants. She enjoys teaching PA students, and is an active Preceptor and Associate Professor of her alma-mater, Philadelphia University.  She lives here in Delaware with her husband and twin daughters, and enjoys reading, exercising, and outdoor activities.

 

 


 

Gwen Dalphon, PA-C

Gwen Dalphon is a board certified Physician Assistant  licensed by the states of Delaware, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. She joined Premier Dermatology in September 2013.

Gwen graduated with a bachelor’s degree  from Robert Morris University in 2009.  She earned her Master’s of  Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2012 from Seton Hill University.

Before coming to Premier Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery, Gwen completed an APPAP approved Dermatology Physician Fellowship fellowship training program in Washington, DC.  As a dermatology Physician Assistant, Gwen is trained to diagnosis and treat many skin conditions including but not limited to: acne, rosacea, eczema, warts, psoriasis, and skin cancer.  She also performs comprehensive skin exams and minor surgery including the removal of benign and cancerous lesions.

Gwen is a member of The Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physicians Assistants.  When not working she enjoys traveling, exercising, and spending time with her fiance, friends and family.

 

 


Chantel Mozal, MHP, PA-C

cmheadshotChantel Mozal is a board certified Physician Assistant licensed by the state of Delaware.  Chantel is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the Delaware Academy of Physician Assistants.

Chantel graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Natural Science and History.  After college, Chantel worked for five years at the University of Pennsylvania Department of Allergy, Asthma, and Critical Care in clinical research, co-authoring several publications in scientific, peer-reviewed journals.  Chantel also earned her Masters in Public Health from the University of Pennsylvania.  It was during her time at Penn that Chantel learned her calling was to be on the patient side of health care. Chantel obtained her Masters of Medical Science – Physician Assistant from Emory University in 2015.

Chantel resides in North Delaware with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, hiking national parks, and taking her Goldendoodle to therapy visits as part of the PAWS for People therapy dog program.
